From The Pastor’s Desk

“It was a beautiful, joy-filled service.  We Are Family went over very well at the end, too! Church can be fun and sunny again.”  “Century Church, Frazer, and many others were praying for us. What an amazing day!!!” “What a glorious day it was!” “What a fantastic start for our new Church; even the birds loved it, too!” “Thank you, everyone, for all your hard work, which has brought us to this day. Praise God for having truly blessed us.”

These are just a few of the responses I received after the Service on Sunday. The shared excitement about our new beginnings is profound. We had a wonderful crowd—almost 100!!! This is a testament to our strong community and shared faith. Praise be to God.

This coming Sunday, you all will have an opportunity to join Christ Methodist. This is not the only Sunday you can join; however, those who join on Sunday will be considered founding members. There are three ways in which you can become a member: First, Transfer of Membership, those of you who will be moving your membership, no matter the church or denomination. Second, some of you may be coming by Profession of Faith, meaning you do not hold membership in any church. Third, some might want to be baptized. The Global Methodist church also believes that “once baptized, always baptized.” So, if you have never been baptized and have prayed about joining this Sunday, please call me at 251-401-7766 so we can talk and prepare you for the service. Some of you may want to join but will not be here this Sunday. Please call me or Steve and let us know if you would like to move your membership. 

What a blessing God has given us—the opportunity to be a part of sowing seeds throughout this community and all the places we will go. I am so thankful to be serving with you all. Words cannot describe the excitement in my soul.
