As We Prepare…

I want to thank all of you ahead of time for helping to make this Lenten season a wonderful and meaningful one. Many of you have said you are ready for the services and have graciously offered to help in any way you can.  

We are a strong church, strong in attitude and strong in faith. Mother Teresa once said, “God has not called me to be successful; God has called me to be faithful.”  We are rich in the eyes of God. Many of us give and give all in the name of love. Thank you all for the opportunity to serve in one of God’s fine churches.  Sometimes, we get so busy with life that we don’t notice how blessed we are to have the things we have.  I want to take a moment to recognize those things and say that I am very blessed to be learning, sharing, and living in the Faith of Jesus Christ with you here at Christ Methodist Church.

Remember, it is not just on Easter Sunday morning that we can shout, “Christ is Risen, Christ is Risen indeed.” I pray this Lenten season will inspire you to do great things through the Father’s love. May it be a time of deep reflection, spiritual growth, and renewed commitment to our faith. And I hope that when you have those moments of greatness, you will share them with your church family. We are about to embark on an extraordinary journey with Christ; may we thank Him daily.
